Today for the first two periods with Mr Chiu we got on with our Power Point. Over the weekends we had interviewed our parents and friends on their views of technology and the change of culture. We found out that adults had different views from younger people such as teens in technology. Adults think more about work, news and storage while children and teens think mostly about gaming and different types of entertainment. This may be because adults are the ones working hard while the children or teens are the ones that enjoys their life by having entertainment by playing and games.
We put the different responses on to our powerpoint and also started on two other slides which are about the history of technology and also the improvements of technology. From different sites we managed to learn facts about different olden inventions. Throughout the whole power point we thought ourselves about the culture being affected by technology and our own replies to our own interview questions. We also thought deeply about why adults and children think differently and also how we have benefited from technology and how technology has caused us to change in style for example making us lazy

Period 3 and 4
In the last two periods we had Ms Watkins. We started the lesson by continuing our powerpoint on technology culture. Then after listening to Ms Watkins discussion with us about sources for our points. We mentioned interviews and started to think about different questions to ask to the people we thought to interview such as the technology staff, technicians and also our parents. The following are the main questions we thought up of:
- How do you think technology has impacted on human's lives?
- Cars had been a major improvement, do you think it has impacted a lot on us?
- What do you think are the key improvements on technology that impacted a lot on our lives?
- Do you think there are any inventions that had destroyed or impacted a lot on another culture?
- Do you think having cars invented would be better or just leaving the different cultures of people's lives unchanged?
- Do you think without technology there would be a terrible impact on humans?
- Do you agree that car's have a postitive effect on our lives?
- What do you think are the negative effects on our environment?
- Even though satallites had impacted on our lives and communications but do you think it has made people's lives easier and cause some pollution?
- What do you think is the definition of the culutre of technology?
- Do you agree that old satallites can in the future cause a problem with atmosphere?
- Do you think artificial intelligence should be explored?
- Are the impact of technology a huge change in culture for humans?

Period 1 and 2 Thursday 11th June 2009
Today in the first two periods we were together with Mr Chiu. In these two periods we did show and tell and also discussed and started our project. We started our lesson with show and tell where each of us showed our item that we brought to school and explained what it means to us, why its special and how it shows our culture. Some people brought in sport gear such as tennis rackets, basketballs while others brought hobby items such as a picture of a guitar. I bought in snowboarding goggles because it has a special meaning to me.
We then discussed about culture and we wrote in pairs on paper different types of culture. Then Mr Chiu discussed with us about the presentation we have to do and we chose in the end that we are doing technology for culture. He taught us that culture affects our lives and that we affect culture. This proves that culture and identity are Interdependant and we have to include that phrase and show we understant it in our presentation.
